Extant lower fascicle, metal movable type edition dated the 7th year of Xuanguang (1377), held by the Bibliothèque nationale de France
“Essential Sections of Directly Pointing to the Mind-Essence by the Buddhas and Patriarchs, Transcribed by Monk Baegun,” also known as “Direct Pointing,” is a Chan Buddhist recorded sayings collection compiled by the Goryeo monk Baegun Gyeonghan. A surviving fragment of the 1377 metal movable-type edition is now preserved in the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
